This procedure describes how you can create a category before you assign a post to it as well as how you can create a category as you create a post.

A post excerpt is a brief textual description of the post’s content. Graffiti will use part of the post’s body content as the excerpt if you do not specify the excerpt content.
The posts publishing option helps you manager your content's Web site by allowing you to control the status of the content.
Graffiti ships with a number of pre-built widgets. These cover common tasks such as adding a message to a site, pulling in links from Del.icio.us, and showing a recent list of posts.
Add tags to a post on the Settings tab. You can add tags when you create the post or add them later by editing the post.
